Filo65 Sustainability Area curated by C.L.A.S.S., Hall 5
February 11-12, 2026 | Fiera Milano Rho, Milan, Italy
The FILO Sustainability Area curated by C.L.A.S.S., dedicated to seasonal sustainable and innovative proposals, returns for the 65th edition of the fair.
This season, the FILO Sustainability Area curated by C.L.A.S.S. is built around two key themes: “Native Wools” and the evolution of the “InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S.” value discourse, began last season.
Native wool represents a defining element of local identity, expressing a centuries-old relationship between landscapes, rural communities and pastoral systems. The Sustainability Area curated by C.L.A.S.S. for Filo therefore offers an immersive journey into this reality, highlighting the richness of local pastoral traditions, territories and traditional know-how, capable of projecting heritage into new and surprising applications for contemporary textiles. This theme has been made possible thanks to the synergy and coordination between C.L.A.S.S. and Patrizia Maggia, President of Agenzia Lane d’Italia.
Within Filo’s Sustainability Space, selected case histories curated by C.L.A.S.S. will be presented, demonstrating how the Native Wool supply chain can be translated into niche, high-excellence products that carry strong values in both fashion and furniture and interior design. Sharing their experience with native wools will be leading companies such as Fibre Gentili, Piacenza 1733, Lanificio Paoletti – MTF, the interior design brand Mariantonia Urru; Agenzia Lane d’Italia; and the MARLAINE project, funded by the Interreg Italy–France Maritime Programme, with the National Research Council (CNR), Institute for BioEconomy, as leading partner.
The Sustainability Area will also once again highlight the focus on the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. new invisible — yet always measurable — values of the next-generation wardrobe: Ethics, Social Initiatives, Transparency and Traceability, Environment, Health, Circular Economy Initiatives, Design, Ingredients, Production, Dyeing and Finishing. Ten parameters that run throughout the entire textile supply chain and that the InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. project aims to make visible and communicate clearly: the challenge now is the launch of a campaign addressed to the end consumer, focused on awareness, education and participation through a new way of communicating, involving the supply chain, the industry and designers.
The Native Wools theme proposed within the Sustainability Area aims to open a positive and concrete dialogue among professionals, designers and visitors, showing how the enhancement of native wools can become a viable path towards responsible and contemporary textiles, where tradition and innovation reinforce one another, giving rise to solid, competitive and territory-rooted supply chains.
This discussion begins in the Sustainability Area of Filo65 and continues through two Filo Dialogues curated by C.L.A.S.S.:
