The Green Carpet Challenge is a dynamic project founded by Livia Firth and British journalist Lucy Siegle which pairs glamour and ethics to raise the profile of sustainable style at the world’s most high profile red carpet events and works deep in the supply chain to help the fashion industry reform. The GCC has collaborated with some of the worlds most recognized and respected design luminaries. The GCC fabric library launched in 2012 bringing eco fabrics and processes into the public consciousness. Green Cut, a creative project between the GCC and sponsor American Express paired leading designers with iconic British films, producing a collection. The unique process was documented in a short film also entitled Green Cut.
