Giusy Bettoni and Livia Firth

Selection by C.L.A.S.S., an exclusive and cutting-edge area at the show which offers a window on the world of eco sensitive innovation, had a very special guest: Livia Firth, the “Queen of Green”, came to visit Selection by C.L.A.S.S. to experience new textile innovation in responsible fashion and design (in the above picture with Giusy Bettoni, C.L.A.S.S. co-founder).

Brand new participants of this edition were Humanitea design and the Kenland brand, both displaying the most advanced eco-compatible technologies in terms of dyes and natural fibres, in their sophisticated and stylish collections of fabrics and clothing.

A chosen group of 15 designers gave full expression to their creativity, innovation and eco-soul through exclusive collections of garments, accessories, jewellery and lingerie. Alongside the brands 959®, Bioneuma, Così Nero Quasi Blue, DesMode, Leonarda Designs, Reggiani, Rizieri and Silenzio Stampa by Alice Visin, already present at previous editions of the Salon, were new additions Fondo 9, Gamura, KreisiCouture, Maxjenny, Massimo Tevarotto, Of Handmade and Sofia Retro Bazar.

The Eco library section, DNA of the C.L.A.S.S. platform and source of inspiration for our designers, was a protagonist of great value too. The section, dedicated to new eco materials, showed the latest innovations in terms of fabrics and yarns such as the new sustainable yarn platform Newlife™ by Filature Miroglio, Natulon® fastening products, made by YKK and Cardato Regenerated, a project in collaboration with the Prato Chamber of Commerce.
