CLASS eco-library at Première Vision Paris

Another activity in support of the “responsible creation” roundtable has been the presence of C.L.A.S.S. eco-library, which was set up throughout the 3 days of the show. Read what’s new for the AW 14/15.
A selection of innovative, creative and responsible fabrics and technologies was displayed and divided into 3 main product categories:

• Natural/Organic • Recycled/Regenerated • Renewable/Innovative

E.volution™ by Miroglio Textile, a unique business and design service platform able to offer the market an incredible 100% made in Italy range of print solutions choices, presented 2 major innovations:
– Twin Fabs, a brand new line of paired off textiles that can replace the liner during the making up of the garment, thanks to a quite unique technology owned by Miroglio Textiles.
– Filature Miroglio, part ofMiroglio Textile, has developed a range of yarns made of a blend of 80% Tencel® and 20% Ecolabel® certified regenerated noble fibres such as wool, alpaca, cachemire. These yarns has been woven and printed with the E.volution™ system by Miroglio Textile .

Thermore presented the latest innovation, Thermore ARIA, a perfect technical synthetic alternative to real down feathers. This new insulation is 98% air by volume, ultra-light, soft and a super efficient high-loft insulator. Lighter than ever on the consumer and the environment.

– Knitwear yarns, resulting from a special process for a full body hand, really natural and available in a wide range of colors.
– Concerning career wear, a special product made of Newlife™ yarns, woven by the French weaver Chamatex with the inclusion of the Sympatex® sustainable laminate for a specific high quality top work wear (police, transports etc) fabric range, with enhanced mechanical properties, abrasion resistance and color fastness.
