On July 11th CLASS participated, as an important invited guest, in a conference entitled “Connecting the Dots: A Sustainable Fashion, Health & Beauty Symposium” organized by the Fashion Institute of Technology, the event involved three days of workshops, panels and an eco-tour around Manhattan.
On Thursday, in the program at The Fashion Institute of Technology’ s Great Hall, and at other locations throughout FIT and New York City, Giusy Bettoni, founder of CLASS, was the keynote speaker of a Symposium entitled “Welcome to the third Dimension: Where Design and Innovation Meet Responsibility”.
The goal of the event was to provide information and dialogue on the state of sustainable fashion, health and beauty. It was an important opportunity to share knowledge and demonstrate that the union between creativity, innovation and responsibility, could offer a competitive advantage for the fashion industry, even though, until now, it has not been well explored. Part of the CLASS Eco-Library was displayed during the Symposium to provide a unique multisensory experience.
