PRODUCT INNOVATIONS: From weaving to sewing, from dyeing to cutting and from fusion and galvanic treatment to assembling, the Lanfranchi zipper production is fully integrated. Lanfranchi Spa offers a wide range of zips that feature a string made out of organic cotton and Newlife™, the material obtained from recycled PET plastic bottles with great savings in terms of water and energy consumption and CO2 emissions as demonstrated by the LCA study. During the last editions of Première Vision and Milano Unica, Lanfranchi Spa presented their new works for the 2017/2018 fall-winter collection. Among the products there will be Superlampo T14, a zipper of big dimensions originally intended for purses and with a more aggressive look. Another product is Iridium, a series of sliders with a new, bright chromatic effect obtained by employing the airtight PVD technique, known for its reduced use of heavy metals without employing water. Among the novelties, Copper Shaggy is a Lurex variation to the frayed string and La grande nuit is a 4 millimeter (S4) spiral chain for pockets from the Silicon collection. Then there is Mélange, a variation to the mélange ribbon on a T8 chain Pied-de-poule, a jacquard ribbon with a bicolor leather puller, and Sequence, an S4 zipper with many sliders. Last but not least, Sport tape J98 is a clasp locker featuring optical effects and a new metal mesh tassel puller.

As guarantee of quality the products are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class I certified. Thanks to the two new galvanic treatment and dyeing facilities, which allow savings up to 30% in water consumption and 35% in sewage-discharged water while doubling the productive capacity, the Urago establishment in the province of Brescia was awarded the ISO14001 certification.
