CLICKNL/Next Fashion in collaboration with Control Union, ArtEZ modelectoraat, Gelderland Valoriseert, Gemeente Arnhemand MoBA13

What:

A one-day expert meeting June 19th at MoBA Podium. During this day the innovation issues will be addressed. The aim of the event is to build up networks, exchanges on the innovation issues. The day is meant as matchmaking event for building new consortia as part of the ongoing innovation agenda of CLICK//NextFashion. The exact concept of the programme and the line-up of speakers and guests is worked out with the key figures of the expertmeeting, based on the concepts below.

Concept/Idea:

The aim of this seminar will be a combination of a workshop where participants can collaborate in research and a seminar with interesting speakers on this subject. Aim is to create a network, share knowledge and innovation ideas and (hopefully) start collaboration in research and innovation projects in the future. Time is there to re-think fashion and textile to see if there are more sustainable ways to produce fabric (bio-based, smart material) and to manufacture closer to home. Especially within this trend (comparable with local food/slow food movement) we are looking for new small scale local ateliers, craftsmen, weavers, knitters and spinners to create a new network to work in.

Target group:

About 200 invitees from design, education, government and industries in the Netherlands and Germany.
