Lampo zipper made of Newlife™

Launched during Première Vision (February 2014), the most sustainable zipper is made of Newlife™, a material produced from the processing of post-consumer PET bottles.

The most innovative sustainable zipper is now available thanks to Lanfranchi, the leading Italian company producing zip fastenings since 1887 and owner of the famous brand Lampo. The production cycle is fully integrated with all stages of the manufacturing process, including the machinery used, completely made in Italy. The products have been certified Oeko Tex for over 10 years.

The Newlife™ yarns are produced entirely in Italy, fully traceable and 100% produced from the processing of PET bottles post-consumer. The process is a unique Model of High-Tech Conversion (HTCM) that is highly technological and based on a mechanical, non chemical, process.
