As of February 10th, 2014 the Smart Woman Project launched a crowd funding campaign to fund the development of the SmartWoman app. This campaign will only last 30 days. We need your support today! 

Launched and powered by ChangeCorp – a mobile learning content company that specializes in women’s issues – The SmartWoman Project is a movement enabling women around the world to help, connect, share and empower each other. ChangeCorp will be launching country editions of SmartWoman in Mexico, Kenya, Nigeria, Oman and Indonesia. The mobile app will be available for download on March 2014 from the website smartwomanproject.com (here you can read more about this project).

Smart Woman app crowd funding campaign

Right now ChangeCorp has launched a crowd funding campaign to develop both Android and iOS mobile framework and platform. Your donation to The SmartWoman Project will be extremely valuable towards creating the app and empowering women worldwide. In the next 30 days they need to raise 100% of their goal ($ 30.000). Plum Alley’s model “all-or-nothing” encourages to ask you to please donate as much as you can. If they do not reach their goal, all funds will return to you.

When the app will be released, people can register an download it from the website. Your monthly $5.00 membership fee will go towards a woman in a disadvantaged area to receive daily educational SMS (Text) messages in life skills, business, family/work life balance, healthcare, among other topics, helping them to make a better life for themselves and their families.
