On Friday May 15th, at 11.30 am in Boulevard de la Croisette, Cannes The worldwide Premiere of “The True Cost” took place place, this is the latest work of the American director
Andrew Morgan.
It is a story about the clothes we wear and the people that they repackage told through a journey to the places of the world that produce fashion at an extremely high human and environmental cost.
Shot in various countries around the world, from the catwalks and the most glittering suburbs, to the darkest and uncomfortable areas “The True Cost” wants to stimulate consumers to open their eyes. Containing interviews with some of the greatest ‘influencers’ in this area, such as Stella Mc Cartney, Livia Firth and Vandana Shiva, this revolutionary documentary makes clear that alternatives exist, are possible and that by choosing what to buy we can change the world.
