C.L.A.S.S. at Fordham University NYC

C.L.A.S.S. just came back from New York where it had the opportunity to show its eco-library and explain its vision to students of the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham University.

On November 20th C.L.A.S.S. was invited to talk to students at the Fordham University Law School. The lecture was held during the Fashion Law Institute’s “Fashion Ethics, Sustainability and Development” course, which is taught by attorney and professor Jeff Trexler.

The course explores the intersection of fashion law and social values. Topics include sustainable design, eco-chic or “green” fashion, the law and ethics of marketing, corporate social responsibility, fair trade, cruelty-free fashion, fashion-related nonprofits, religious fashion and fashion’s role in international development, including ethical issues raised by clothing donations to the poor and to developing countries.
